Ms. Haas handles general civil litigation in both state and federal court. She assists clients with the purchase and/or sale of residential and commercial real estate as well as other real estate related issues. Ms. Haas has worked extensively regarding employment discrimination with the Illinois Department of Human Rights, Equal Employment Opportunity Commission and the Illinois Human Rights Commission. She is versed in banking law and creditor’s rights as well as municipal liability. Ms. Haas is a certified arbitrator for the Eleventh Judicial Circuit. |

A native of Bloomington, Illinois, Ms. Haas obtained her Bachelor of Arts degree in both history and French; graduating summa cum laude with honors from Illinois State University in 1999. She received her Juris Doctorate degree from University of Illinois in 2003. Ms. Haas worked in the Appellate Defender Clinic while in law school. She joined the firm in 2003. |
