Mr. Neirynck has concentrated his practice on the trial and appeal of civil cases in both state and federal court. Mr. Neirynck is a Certified Mediator by the Eleventh Judicial Circuit. Mr. Neirynck authored "Teacher's Strikes - A New Militancy," published in the Notre Dame Lawyer. He is also a chapter author of "Mandamus and Inverse Condemnation," for the Illinois Institute of Continuing Legal Education. He has been a speaker for the Illinois Institute of Continuing Legal Education in 1985, 1989 and 1994. |

Mr. Neirynck was born in 1944. He was admitted to the Illinois Bar in 1969 after graduating from the University of Illinois B.A., cum laude in 1966 and the University of Notre Dame Law School J.D., cum laude in 1969. While attending law school, he was the articles editor for the Notre Dame Lawyer (1969). He is a former law clerk to the Honorable Leland Simkins, Illinois Appellate Court, Fourth District (1973-75). He has served as a special assistant attorney general for the State of Illinois for condemnation from 1985 to present. He is married with four children. |

Mr. Neirynck is a member of the McLean County Bar Association. He is also a member of the Illinois State Bar Association where he was an assembly delegate from 1972 through 1980. He is past chairman of the Insurance Law Counsel (1988-89). He is a member of the Defense Research Institute and the Illinois Association of Defense Trial Counsel where he served on the board of directors from 1983 through 1994. He has been a past participant in the Allerton Conference on civil procedure in 1982 and 1984. He is a master bencher in the Robert C. Underwood Inn of Court and is a Fellow of the American College of Trial Lawyers serving as Downstate Chair 2004-2006. |

Mr. Neirynck has served as vice-president, parish council, Holy Trinity Church; president, Holy Trinity Grade School Board of Education; and Advisory Board of Directors, Big Brothers/Big Sisters of McLean County. |
